     INSTALLING TIDES4XX ON YOUR HARD DISK

     To install using DOS:
     
       Enter "A:TIDINSTL" (where A represents the letter of the drive 
       containing the floppy disk with the TIDES program.) 

     To install using Windows 3.1:
     
       Double click on the File Manager icon in the Main group.

       Click on the icon for the drive containing the floppy with the TIDES 
       program.

       Click on the folder with the TIDES4XX data desired.

       Double click on the TIDINSTL.EXE program icon.
     
     
     Then simply follow the prompts. If the default input displayed is 
     satisfactory, just press Enter. Otherwise the input can be edited 
     using the alphabetic and numerical keys, Home, End, Ins and Del and 
     left and right arrow keys. 
     
     To run TIDES4XX under DOS:                       

        Enter 'CD C:\TIDES4DIR'  [This assumes that C is your hard drive and
                                 you accepted the default directory name.] 

        Enter TIDES4XX, which will start the program.


     To run TIDES4XX under Windows 3.1:

     A. Double click on the File Manager icon in the Main group.

        Click on the icon for the drive where TIDES data was put.

        Click on the folder TIDES4DIR (or other directory name chosen.)

        Double click on the TIDES4XX.EXE program icon. This will start the
